CRONIMET Terminals is a full service intermodal terminal at mile marker 16.8 on the Ohio River in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, where rail, barge, and truck converge at a single site. The facility pairs 139,725 square feet of indoor storage and 180,000 square feet of outdoor laydown with three riverfront docks, an internal rail spur, and the handling equipment to move material between all of them.

Storage

Under Roof and in the Yard.

Indoor and outdoor storage run side by side, so material can come off the river or the rail and go straight to the ground that suits it.

Both sit on the same site, a short move from the dock, the rail spur, and the truck lanes.

Indoor Warehouse Storage

Warehouse buildings ranging from 2,600 to 36,000 square feet keep material under roof and out of the weather.

Outdoor Storage Areas

Open laydown areas hold bulk piles and material that ships uncovered.

River, Rail, and Road

Any Way In. Any Way Out.

Every transfer happens inside the terminal: barge to rail, rail to truck, truck to barge, or any of them into storage and back out again.

Direct Barge Access

Riverfront docks put barges alongside the yard, loaded and unloaded by the terminal's own equipment.

Rail-Served Facilities

Rail served via AOR with direct access to the CSX network. An internal rail spur, roughly 1,000 feet of track, brings railcars to the warehouses and laydown areas, including covered hopper loading and unloading.

Truck Loading and Unloading

Trucks load and unload on site, so material moves in and out by road from the same ground it is stored on.

Multimodal Transportation Access

Rail, barge, and truck in one operation: material changes modes without leaving the site.

Handling and Equipment

The Equipment That Moves It.
